What’s the name of the disease or disorder where you think you’re smarter than everyone in your sociology class?

I guess I have that.

It’s like flashbacks to my freshman year when I dropped my government class because of this one guy who used the lecture hall as his personal, conservative soap box. I seem to be of a minority of people who can respect the fact that people aren’t paying for (or the government is not funding) a multi-thousand dollar education so that you can hear my opinions about the topic d’jour.

So if, perhaps, the lady who spent a nice chunk of the class talking about how the United States isn’t “100% capitalistic” anymore, “it’s like 50% capitalistic and 50% the other thing” is reading this blog — which is highly unlikely, because of the whole “reading” factor — please shut your hole in class and get a blog. Then you can tell the whole world your theories on capitalism and “the other thing” at no cost to me.

I couldnt even take government freshman year, but I thoroughly relate to what you are talking about. Its the kinda thing where you just want to tell them, “Teach me what, I must know, your personal opinion is neither relevant or helpful”, but then again, that might be a tad rude.

I miss readying your blogs, you dont blog as often. But, when you do, they are great! So, moral: you should blog more =)
